Maria Murray is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work for this exhibition explores memory and nostalgia through differentlenses. The work includes an investigation of joyful experiences through basic mechanisms such as line, colour and shape. It also explores human connection and the dual presence of isolation and intimacy through both representational and heavily layered abstract works.

Maria is a graduate of Multimedia, Cork Institute of Technology. She has worked as a digital designer, artist and teacher. She currently lectures in CIT and has been a member of the studio since January 2016.
